Edward Guice Potter, III passed away May 17, 2017.
He was born in 1961 in Anniston, AL and attended public schools. He graduated from the Donoho School in 1980. He then attended Auburn University, The University of Montevallo, where he played on the golf team, and UAB. He founded and owned Inverness Golf and Repair in Birmingham, AL since 1990. He once said that all he wanted to do was make everyone's life who came into his shop a little better. He achieved his dream.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Crews Potter; son, Edward Guice Potter IV; daughter, Haley Jeanne Potter; parents, Edward Guice Potter, Jr and Patricia Boinest Potter; and sister, Julie Potter.
A celebration of Guice's life will be held at Church of the Highlands, Grants Mill Chapel on Sunday, May 21 at 2pm.
