Born on February 4, 1935, in Hurricane, West Virginia, Lee loved his country and proudly served twenty years in the Air Force. He spent his life dedicated to his family, faith, and community.
He married the love of his life, Eula, on August 22, 1956, and together they shared sixty-eight wonderful years of marriage.
A man of deep faith, strong character, and unwavering integrity, Lee was a lifelong member of Frazer Church, where he served faithfully and found great joy in worship and fellowship. His faith guided every aspect of his life and was evident in the way he loved, led, and served others.
Lee was loved by all who knew him. With a warm smile, a kind heart, and a gift for making people feel seen and valued, he built lasting relationships wherever he went. He was a natural storyteller—engaging, funny, and full of wisdom—often holding court with tales from his life that left listeners laughing or inspired.
Lee was known for his love of the outdoors and spent countless hours hunting and fishing. A talented woodworker and painter, his craftsmanship and creativity were evident in every project he touched—from hand-carved furniture to beautiful landscape paintings.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Eula; his children, Jerry Patton (Susan), Chattanooga, TN, Carlene Rasberry (Bill), Birmingham, AL, and Marlene Dade, Hopkinsville, KY; his six grandchildren, and his three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, James Patton (Jenny), Charleston, West Virginia, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mable Patton, and siblings, Emmitt Patton, Marguerite Pennington, Robert Patton, Lillian Kitts, Betty McClure, and Tom Patton.
Lee will be remembered for his steady presence, his quiet strength, and the way he lived his values every day. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
