ROBERSON, DONALD RAY "DON," 74, of Hoover, Alabama passed away Sunday morning, April 14, 2013. He was a devoted husband and father. The Sylacauga, Alabama native and University of Alabama graduate owned the CPA firm of Roberson Accounting. He was a member of Valleydale Baptist Church. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Roberson and Adele Lipsey Roberson. Survivors include Don's wife of 12 years, Cookie Dobbins Roberson; one daughter, Stephanie Williams (Todd); two sons, Casey Roberson (Emily) and Keith Roberson (Tracy); five grandchildren, Josh, Lindzy, Levi, Michael, and Brooks; one sister, Doris Thrash (Doyle); and three brothers, Jerry Roberson (Opal), Gene Roberson, and Phillip Roberson (Jimmie). The family will receive friends one hour before the 12 noon chapel service Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. The 2:30 p.m. committal service and burial will be Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery, Sylacauga. The family expresses special thanks to the staff and doctors in CVICU at St. Vincent's Hospital, Birmingham, Alabama.
