David T. Champion

Champion, David T., age 39 of Wilsonville, AL, passed away on January 29, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Emily Champion; daughter, Abby Champion; parents, Gordon and Betty Champion; sisters, Peggy St. John (Roland) and Patty Collins (Chris). The Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 at 12:00 pm at David and Emily's home.

David was the youngest and only son of three children to Betty and Gordon Champion on April 20, 1983. He married Emily Hope Keith on October 2, 2004, and their daughter Abby Mae was born on September 4, 2013.

He was a family man and successful in his trade. David was a man with many titles: husband, dad, brother, son, uncle, grandson, and friend. He was always smiling and willing to help anyone. Though still young, David was an accomplished business owner of C & C.

Broken Chain: "We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broke, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again." - Ron Tranner
