Clara Garner Casewell

Clara Garner Casewell, 99, of Columbiana, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020. The Texas native was employed for several years in administrative roles at Golden Flake Snack Foods in Birmingham, Alabama.

Clara was predeceased by her parents, Grace Wanita Hughes Garner and Turner Claud Garner; first husband, Forest Vick; second husband, Willard Casewell; two brothers, Granville Benjamin Garner and Ted Garner; and one niece, Carole Sue Hearst.

Remaining family includes Clara's nieces and nephews, Sarah Nell Lane, Sherry Ann Taylor, Granville Benjamin Garner Jr., Jimmie Rodgers Garner, Phillip Ray Garner, Rita Gay Castleberry, Roy Garner, and Gene Garner; and two great-nieces, Angela Leigh Bowls and Laurie Ann Peters. Also cherishing memories of Clara are her special friends and caregivers, Marilyn W. Whitlock, Ruthie Buie, and Evelyn Studmire.

The private graveside service was Thursday afternoon, November 19, 2020 at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.
