Charlotte Elizabeth Hallmark entered into the gates of heaven on January 13, 2025. Charlotte is survived by her loving sons, David Stewart (Sandra) and Daniel Stewart (Edna), Granddaughter Jennifer Boyle (Shane), Great Grandchildren Michelle Davis, Isabella Boyle, Blake Boyle, and Carter Boyle, and Great Great Grandson Colton Davis.
Charlotte was a founding member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama and selflessly served as Principal Chief for many years. She was a champion of the Indian Education Program and helped hundreds of students gain scholarships and valuable work experience.
Beyond that, Charlotte was a deeply beloved mother and grandmother who always put her family first. While she will be forever missed by all who knew her, we take comfort in knowing that she is resting in the arms of her savior.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a celebration of life to follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Inurnment will conclude in the adjoinging cemetery.
