Candace Crain Knight

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Candace Crain Knight, of Wilsonville, AL. Candace passed away on November 3, 2020 at the age of 44 years old. She was born in Birmingham, AL on June 23, 1976. Candace graduated from Pelham High School in 1994 and pursued a career in Mortgage Banking.

Her passions included: dog rescues, Auburn football, smocking, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and beloved dogs, Finn and June.

Candace is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Durell and Ivis Byars; paternal grandmother, Lois Crain; and uncles, Donald Ray Byars and Terry Byars.

She will be dearly missed, yet forever loved and remembered by her mother, Susan Underhill (Tom); father, Derral Crain (Faye); grandfather, Roy Crain; sisters, Crystal Bouchard (Will), Annie Johns (Dakota), and Abigail Underhill; nieces, Fallon and Haisley; nephews, Rylan, Gavin, Daxton, and Harrison; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

The family will receive family and friends Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Candace’s life to follow.
