Benny "Steve" Steven Hall

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Benny Byrd Hall.

He was married to Kay Franklin Hall on September 15, 1973. He is survived by his mother, Gracie Smith Hall, sister Michele Camp (Alex), brother Mark R. Hall (Dessie), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Steve graduated from Montevallo High School and attended courses at UAB. He spent his entire career in the engineering field with several engineering firms in Birmingham and Huntsville. He also spent several of those years working out of state.

He is a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham and is a member of the Abundant Life Sunday School Class. He served as a "Greeter" and he loved opening those big doors and welcoming everyone with a big smile.

He loved and pampered the many faithful dog companions who were a part of our family over the years, from the first (Casey) to the last (Charlie). One of his greatest joys and blessings was his role as a 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School teacher at several churches. He also had a passion for SEC football and politics.

A memorial service will be held at the Briarwood Presbyterian Church Chapel on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
