Born December 25, 1957 in Peoria to Carl and Wanita (Wisher) Dane, she married Ronald Wilson on October 20, 1979 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are six children, Joseph (Kayla) Wilson of Winfield, Missouri, Crystal Wilson of Gainesville, Missouri, Eric (Jenifer) Wisher and Sharon Justice, both of Pekin, Ryan (Jessica) Wilson of Riverton and Emily (Adam) Hahn of Pekin; 18 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and six siblings, Wanda (Leroy Guy) Dane of Peoria, Michael (Joyce) Dane of South Pekin, Pamela (Wayne) Englebrecht, Carl Dane, Jacqueline (Robert) Dane-Siegler and Keith Dane, all of Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Andrew Dane.
Sue loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She liked watching dirt track racing and cheering on her family that raced. From her husband, sons, father and her uncles, it was a popular activity with the whole family. She loved reading, sewing, crocheting and watching hummingbirds.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Sue and her husband operated Wilson Towing now known as Wilson Auto Sales in Pekin.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Brother Clinton John Pincock will officiate. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
