PEKIN ~ Vicki Jane Wade, 61, of Pekin, passed away at 8:05 a.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
Born June 7, 1962 in Naracoorte, South Australia to Noel and Nancy Ledner, she married Chris Wade on April 11, 1982. He survives.
Also surviving are her parents; one brother, Andrew “Jay” Ledner; one brother-in-law Kevin (Paula) Wade and her two beloved golden retrievers, Morris and Ruby.
Vicki worked for over 12 years as the director of accounting at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria before retiring.
She enjoyed gardening, watching Formula One Racing. She loved animals and traveling with her husband.
There will be no services. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
