Tina Kay Schmidgall

She was born June 12, 1966 in Aurora to Kenneth and Rowena (Murphy) Schmidgall.

Surviving are four children, Dawn (Mark) Bays of Peoria, David (Chelsi) Sinks of Pekin, Austin (Autumn) Zinkin of Creve Coeur and Desirae Price of Kincaid; five grandchildren, Aaron, Erika, Alissa, Marley, Charlie and Zachary; one great-grandchildren, Sophia; two brothers, Brian (Mary) Schmidgall of St. Louis, Missouri and Brad (Rita) Schmidgall of Carlinville and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Ron Bircham; three grandchildren, Auric and River Zinkin and Elijah and one sister, Debbie Wright.

Tina worked in home health for many years helping the elderly and handicapped. She also worked with Comfort Keepers and Tazewell County Resource Centers.

She enjoyed collecting antiques and knick knacks, cooking and singing karaoke. Tina loved having a good time and made friends easily. Most of all she loves spending time with her grandchildren and family.

A gathering celebrating Tina’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
