Born June 18, 1964 in Chicago to Ronald and Charlotte (Read) Bell, he married Heather (Harms) Hanson on August 7, 2015. She survives.
Also surviving are four children, Andrew (Jessica) Bell of Morton, Skylar Bell, Drew Hanson and Jordyn Hanson, all of Germantown Hills; three grandchildren, Landen, Caroline and Maximus Bell, all of Morton; two brothers, Wayne Bell of East Peoria and Michael Bell of California and four sisters, Crystal (Chris) Emery of Springfield, Sandra Bell, Susan (Kent) Riley, both of Peoria and Brittney Shepard of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
He had served in the United States Air Force.
Tom was an Allstate Insurance Agent, serving customers from his office at 602 North 5th Street in Pekin.
He was a member of ABATE and loved riding motorcycles. He was devoted to his family and friends.
His visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A funeral service will then be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary of Lourdes Cemetery in Germantown Hills.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for his daughter, Skylar, in care of the funeral home, 500 N. 4th Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
