Born July 28, 1970 in Pekin to Terry and Joy Lynn (Hill) Vogelsang, Sr., he married Jennifer Ely. She survives of Arkansas City, Kansas.
Also surviving are his mother and step-father, Joy and Rob Power of Pekin; four children, Shayla Vogelsang, Britnee Vogelsang, both of Arkansas City, Kansas, Dylan Vogelsang of Delavan and Ethan Davis of Pekin; seven grandchildren; one sister, Nicole (Brett) Damarin of Pekin and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Dayson River Hughes.
Terry was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. He liked going to the drag strip in Havana and having a beer with his buddies. He also had a big heart when it came to his friends.
There will be no service or visitation. Private burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin at a later date. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
