Tammy Moore

Born November 7, 1969 in Peoria to Fred and Virginia Jolene (Whittle) Carlton, she married Brian Moore on May 15, 2021 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Justin Cockrell of Green Valley, Wesley Cockrell of Bloomington, Dillon Cockrell of Morton and Anthony Metcalf of Pekin; two grandchildren; her father, Fred Carlton of Astoria; one brother, Chris Carlton of Pekin and one stepsister, Amanda (Chris) Downing of North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jolene and her stepmother, Mary Carlton.

Tammy worked as a paralegal for the Peoria County State’s Attorney Office for ten years, lasting working Friday.

An avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan, Tammy loved riding her Harley Davidson and listening to country music.

A private family visitation will be at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A gathering celebrating Tammy’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Apostolic Christian Timber Ridge, 2125 Veterans Road, Morton, Illinois 61550.
