Susan Ann Force

Born April 1, 1950 in Peoria to Charles and Lacona (Hatcher) Bayard, she married Floyd Lee Force on June 15, 1968 in East Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are one grandson, Jacob (Autumn) Force of East Peoria; one granddaughter, Kaitlin (Isaac) Hunter of Washington; three great-grandchildren, Rylan Force, Jameson Hunter and Penelope Hunter; one sister, Beth Cisneros of Pekin and one brother, Ted (Cheryl) Bayard of Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Loren Force; one brother, Charles Bayard and one sister, Sandra Beldon.

Sue was a 1968 graduate of Pekin Community High School.

She worked in the cafeteria at Caterpillar, Inc. and later for Canteen and then Eurest Dining, both at Caterpillar, retiring as a manager.

Sue was big on the outdoors. She loved to garden, work in the yard and spending time fishing. She also enjoyed going to car cruise ins.

Her memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. No funeral service is planned. Cremation has been accorded.
