Stephenie Jean Cravatta

Born on June 22, 1980 in Peoria to Stephen Cravatta and Janice Wacker, she met her soul mate Jared Leemon in March of 2013 and have been together since May 1, 2013. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Janice Mitchell of Washington; one sister, Angie Wages of Canton; one brother, Jeremey Cravatta of Oregon; five aunts, Georgia (Larry) Kee of Dunlap, Susan (David) Jennings of Lebanon, Tennessee, Marla Rains of Casselberry, Florida, Tracy (Kevin) Martin of Pekin and Sally (Sam) Hazelett of Logansport, Indiana; several cousins and her beloved fur-babies, Thelma, Louise and Brutus.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Anthony and Beverly Cravatta and Darlene Rains.

Stephenie worked for Kroger in Bartonville for 15 years.

She enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with friends. She loved her dogs and devoted her time caring for them.

Stephenie was a Gift of Hope Donor and supported the gift of life.

Her funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private inurnment will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton at a later date.
