Shelia Darlene Maynard

Born March 29, 1949 in Pekin to Lenard and Catherine (Merritt) Martin, she married Dave Maynard on November 12, 1972. They later divorced.

Surviving are one son, Troy (Timi) Maynard of Pocahontas, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Nicholas Phillips of Pekin, Anthony Maynard and Jolene Darty, both of Mountain View, Arkansas; five Great-grandchildren, Rylee Lynn, Lailah Jolene, Alanna Rose and Nicholas Jr., all of Pekin and Nowana Dawn of Mountain View, Arkansas; one sister, Wanda (James) Lietz of Angora, Minnesota; two brothers, Terry (Denise) Martin of Pekin and Mike Martin of Fort Myers, Florida and two nieces, Shana (Shane) Mar’ee of Fort Myers, Florida and Veronica Jo of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

A homemaker, Shelia loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gardening and crafting.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services.
