Russell Windfield Parrott

He was born May 14, 1935 in Peoria to William and Bernice (Kalb) Parrott.

Surviving are five children, Rebecca (Marty) Davis of Chillicothe, Dawnette Lee of Pekin, Greg Lee of Canton, Tonia (Kevin) Case of Wisconsin and Russell Parrot of Chicago; 15 grandchildren, Johnathan (Dawn) Davis, Jarod (April) Davis, Jesse (Kara) Davis, Jefferson (Autumn) Davis, Jessy (Jennifer) Bassett, Kyle (Mike) Bassett, Logan Bassett, Hayley Parrott, Michelle Parrott, Mathew Parrott, Justin Lee, Joey Lee, Joshua Parrott, Amanda Parrott and Tokaia Parrott; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sandra Rusterholz of Pekin.

Russell was a United States Army veteran.

He had worked at the Pekin Housing Authority for many years.

Russell enjoyed woodworking, making bird houses and squirrel feeders. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
