Ross W. Williamson

Ross was born September 2, 1934 in Gillespie,Il the son of John W. & Marie (Alhiem) Williamson. He married Linda Phipps in Carlinville, IL on January 19, 1961.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years; two sons, Ross (Becky) Williamson Jr. , Kenneth Williamson both of Glasford; three daughters, Brenda Dunniway of Pekin, Suzie Williamson of Pekin, Linda (Dennis) Montgomery of Glasford; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Ross was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.

He worked for IBS Scrap Yard for 30 years before retiring.

Ross served in the United States Army, and was a Korean War Veteran.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 10, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Reed will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Kingston Mines Cemetery.
