Ronald Edwin Burlingame

Born May 22, 1942 in Peoria to Ubert and Mary (Darling) Burlingame, he married Carol Watts on September 8, 1962 in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving his son, Timothy (Chrissy) Burlingame of Delavan; his daughter Gail (Bill) Stelter of Chicago; eight grandchildren, Seth Burlingame, Austin Burlingame, Jack (Sara) Stetler, Benjamin Stetler, Abigail Burlingame, Harrison and Izzy; two great-grandchildren, Linden and Maya; one brother, Marshall “Mark” Burlingame of Oregon and one sister, Sharon Becker of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Brenda Mills; two brothers, Jim Burlingame, Michael Burlingame and one half-brother, Jerry Burlingame.

Ronald was a member of the Pekin Boat Club, Empire Lodge 126, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons and the Pekin Moose Family Center 916.

He worked for Archer Daniels Midland “ADM” for many years as a Grain Elevator Manager.

Cremation has been accorded to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. No services or visitation are planned.
