PEKIN ~ Phyllis Irene Morsch, 84, of Pekin, passed away at 11:35 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Hallmark Healthcare of Pekin.
Born May 21, 1937 in Decatur to Melvin and Merle Pauline (Augustine) Brown, she married William Earl Morsch on June 6, 1980 in Pekin. He died October 22, 2010 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael W. Simon and one grandson.
Surviving are a daughter of Pekin; one brother, Deacon “Uncle Mable” Thompson of Silver Springs, Florida and honorary grandchildren, Jayealynn E. Eddy and Briella A. Eddy, both of Pekin.
She was a homemaker.
Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2022 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Pastor Chuck Tate will officiate. She will be buried along with her son, Michael. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
