Peggy Ann Brown

She was born Nov. 20, 1935 in Pekin, Illinois to Harvey and Rose (Lee) Bloomer. She married Tillman B. Brown in Pekin in November of 1959. He preceded her in death on January 6, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melissa Brown; two brothers, Harvey “Butch” Bloomer, Terry Bloomer; and sister, Billie Flick.

She is survived by four daughters, Lucinda “Cindy” (Willie) King of Peoria, Melinda “Mindy” (Richard) Ford of Bossier City, LA, Ricarla “Ricky” (Terry) Morris of Garner, NC, Tracy (David) Gossman of Tremont; seven grandchildren, Stacie, Justin, Nick, Katie, Melissa, Alisha, Nicole; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Jill) Bloomer of Manito; and several nieces and nephews.

Peggy worked at K-Mart retiring in 1993 after 20 years of service and was a member of the K-Mart Retirees Club. She was also a member of the Pekin Union Mission and the Carrie M. Club there.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin with Pastor Ken Durst officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
