

Born October 19, 1941 in Cullman, AL to Paul Edward and Stella Irene (Bullard) Caudle, Sr., he married Alice Marie Bowen on September 24, 1960 in Sunnyland. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, James (Mary Lee) Caudle of Pekin, Robert Caudle of Mapleton and Paul (Susan) Caudle of Washington; two daughters, Candy (Raymie) Perrin and Robin Caudle, both of Metamora; nineteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two sisters, Billie Faye (Don) Woods of Alabama and Barbara (Rolland) Uphoff of St. Louis, MO; and two brothers, Richard (Karen) Caudle and Michael (Jana) Caudle, both of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He graduated Washington High School in 1960 and married Alice that same year.
Buck had worked as a machinist at Caterpillar, Inc. for 34 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of UAW Local 974, where he served as a steward, chief steward and committeeman.
Buck was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Pekin and was an ordained Baptist minister.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Randy Justus and Rev. Bobby Joe Brown of Parson, TN will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral. Private burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.
