Born August 22, 1956 in Pekin to John and Virginia (Grambel) Fitzanko, he married Debra Marie Garmon in 1983 in Pekin. She died on April 14, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are two sons, Matthew (Cindy) Fitzanko of Pekin and Patrick (Sonya) Fitzanko of Florida; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Amanda, John, Kyleigh, Savannah, Seth and Zeke and four great-grandchildren, Tucker, Mason, Peyton and Riley.
Patrick worked as a custodian for Pekin Community High School district 303 for 31 years before retiring.
He enjoyed music and building Harleys.
His graveside will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
