Born October 31, 1978 in Pekin to Sammy Lee and Mary Kay (Vogel) Bryan Sr., Patty married Ryan Schubert on June 7, 2008 in Kingston Mines. He survives.
Also surviving are her parents, Sammy Lee and Mary Kay Bryan of Kingston Mines; one sister, Kathy (Steve Hornbeak) Bryan of Anna; one brother, Sammy Lee (Teri Hogan) Bryan Jr. of Carbondale; two brothers-in-law, Nick (Jody) Schubert of Williamsfield and Shaun Schubert of Washington; her in-laws, Wally and Reva Waltrip of Dahinda and eight nieces and nephews, Erin Barber of Washington, Sydney and Brody Schubert of Washington, Nicole Fore and Billy Robertson of Pekin, and Rachel, Riley and Sophia Bryan of Carbondale.
She was preceded in death her grandparents and three uncles.
Patty was a manager of Casey’s General store in Glasford for 23 years.
Patty loved making others laugh and enjoyed her customers at Casey’s. Family was everything to her. Her love for holidays was well known, as she always had decorations up. Patty shared her birthday with her favorite holiday, Halloween. She and Ryan planned all year for a costume party that was looked forward to by all. She loved animals, playing bingo and watching the Hallmark Channel.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A memorial service and video celebration will be from 6-6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the American Legion, 11319 South Glasford Road, Glasford, Illinois 61533. Family will receive friends an hour prior to the memorial service.
