Born September 2, 1953 in Peoria to James Edward and Mary Alice Parker Pollock, she married Ronald D. Swiger. She later married Arthur Woods. He preceded her in death in 1985. She later married Donald W. Franks on September 1, 2001 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Mary Alice Johnson of Farmington; one son, Ronald D., Jr. (Jannelle) Swiger of Eureka; two grandsons, Dakota E. Conway and Anakin J. Swiger, both of Eureka; one sister, Jan E. (Gregg) Doza of Marquette Heights; two brothers, James E. "Ed" (Terri) Pollock of Creve Coeur and Jeffrey L. (Louanne) Pollock of Raleigh, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father on December 26, 1975 in Marquette Heights and her step-father, Dennis E. Johnson, on February 25, 2004 in Peoria.
Pat had worked at the River Station Restaurant in Peoria. She also worked in management at Big Al's in Peoria for over 12 years. She was a former Mary Kay consultant and did modeling in the Peoria area.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marquette Heights. She was a former member of the Women of the Moose in both Pekin and Farmington, and the Spring Lake Sportsman Club in rural Manito.
Pat enjoyed making crafts, collecting carousels, camping, and fishing. She also enjoyed traveling, most recently, a trip to Europe with her husband.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2005at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2005at the funeral home. The Rev. Terry C. Edele will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund for her grandsons in care of Goodfield State Bank.
