Born May 10, 1930 in Lincoln to Herbert and Marjorie (Alexander) Mote, she married Jack Emmons on March 4, 1950 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He died September 18, 1983 in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Surviving are one daughter, Debra (Michael) Cole of Marquette Heights; three sons, Jack Emmons, Jr. of Peoria, Michael (Sherry) Emmons of Bradford and Robert Emmons of Dothan, Alabama; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ronnie Mote and Rodney (Lora) Mote, both of Lincoln and Billy (Vicky) Mote of Normal and three sisters, Myra Gleason, Kathy McCoy, both of Pekin and Gayla Wright of Lincoln.
Pat had worked for Bergner’s Distribution Center in Rockford for 22 years, retiring in 1990 as a supervisor.
Pat loved to read and shop.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria.
