Pamela Ruth Hootman

Born June 4, 1942 in LaSalle to Mungo and Margaret (Watson) Duncan, she married the love of her life, Alan R. Hootman on September 3, 1961. He passed away on May 14, 2018. She was also was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Stephen Duncan.

Surviving are one daughter, Dawn Hootman of Pekin; one son, David Hootman; and one sister, Becky Phillips of Pekin.

Pamela was a self-employed hairstylist for many years.

She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, puzzles, Sudoku and crosswords. She loved spending time with her family and friends playing cards or watching movies. She was strong in her faith and would attend bible studies regularly.

A private visitation will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Her private service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin, officiated by Pastor Jonathon Chadbourn.
