Born May 8, 1958 in Peoria to L. Raymond and Donna Jean (Brill) Flier, she married Mark Hammond on April 14, 1979 in East Peoria. She later married Gregory Goodin on July 23, 1999 in Galesburg.
Surviving are her son, Ryan Gregory Goodin, who was the light of her life; two brothers, John (Tina) Flier of Panama City, Florida and Larry Flier of Glasford; two sisters, Debbie (Scott) Crabtree of Pekin and Vickie (Robert) Schroen of Peoria; her nieces and nephews, Tanya Reese, Curt Crabtree, Jill Crabtree, Connor Flier, Nick Snyder, Zack Snyder, Chad Cunningham and Camille Mont. She also leaves a special longtime friend, Margaret "Maggie" Boyer of Pekin and all of Pam’s friends from the Brookmeadows Community in Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A homemaker, Pam loved being Ryan's Mom and caring for her home and pets, Trooper, Lacey and Roxie. She loved watching horse racing and lived for the Kentucky Derby.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, where visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
Memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for her son, Ryan, in care of any CEFCU Member Center or to Tazewell Animal Protective Society, 100 Taps Lane, Pekin, IL 61554.
