Norma Louise Vaughn

Norma was born on April 8, 1933 in McLeansboro, IL to Rev. Alvie O. and Birdie Lee (Whitting) Daily. She married Russell Joe Vaughn on December 9, 1950 in McLeansboro and he preceded her in death in April of 2012. Also preceding her in death are her parents and her daughter-in-law, Linda.

Surviving are her three sons, Danny Vaughn of Glasford, IL, Kenny (Dorothy) Vaughn of Geneseo, IL and Allen (Cynthia) Vaughn of Brisbane, Australia; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her brother, Marion (Frances) Daily of Harrisburg, IL.

Norma was a loving wife and mother. She worked in the beauty shop at Belwood Nursing Home, as well as a cook for the Pekin Riding Club. She was of the Baptist faith and taught both Bible school and Sunday school.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin with visitation beginning at 10:30 am. Rev. Wayne Yeager will be officiating.
