Michael L Wagle

He was born June 9, 1944 in Peoria to Duke and Alberta (Simpkins) Wagle. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Shawn Wagle and one brother, John Wagle.

Surviving are two daughters, Shannon Grossman of Jacksonville, Florida and Kimberly (Rob) Pugh of Pekin; two granddaughters; Shae Grossman of Jacksonville, Florida and Nicole (Johnny) Fitzgerald of Manito; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Terry Wagle of Pekin; three sisters, Rita Potter, Patty (Doug) Anderson and Donna Wagle, all of Pekin.

Mike worked at American Cancer Society in Gainesville, Florida for 23 years, before retiring in 2010.

He enjoyed spending time driving his convertible with the top down and taking walks. Mike also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite place to be was at the beach and in the sand. He was described as a people person, who enjoyed socializing with everyone.

Mike was a member of the Pekin First Church of God.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services.
