Michael E Simpkins

Born July 2, 1958 in Pekin to Michael Simpkins, he married Debbie King on June 19, 1993 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Michael (Cathlina) Simpkins of Peoria, Brandon (Blake) Simpkins of Pekin and Jonathan (Natalie) Green of Creve Coeur; two daughters, Pammy (Louie Saunders) Williamson and Christina (Rob) Hart, both of Pekin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two sisters, Susie Davis of South Pekin and Cleta Boyd of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his father and several siblings.

Mike enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, shooting guns, experimenting with cooking and watching the History Channel, especially American Pickers.

A gathering celebrating Mike’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
