Michael Bruce Wayne Butler

Surviving are his parents of Pekin; one brother, Mason McKean of Pekin; one sister, Madilyn Butler of Pekin; maternal grandparents, Bruce (Loretta) Ferguson of Pekin; paternal grandparents, Wayne (Ellen) Butler of Pekin; and paternal great-grandparents, Phyllis (George) Schofield of Washington and Thomas Schofield of Florida.

Private services will be held at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Burial will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with expenses.

A letter from Michael's Daddy, Jacob:

Michael,

You never had a chance to meet us but your Mother and I got to meet you.  You were so perfect and handsome.  Just like your Daddy.  I hope you will look down on us so you can see just how many people care and love you, Michael Bruce Wayne Butler.  Little Batman was your nickname and it looks like Heaven must have needed a superhero so God chose you.  You were born sleeping soundly as your beautiful Mother and I cried and held you in our arms.  We will honor you and hold you again in Heaven.  We love you so much, baby Mikey...Little Batman....our sweet angel.
