Mary was a faithful member to LaMarsh Baptist Church in Mapleton. She truly loved God and did everything she could to serve him! She loved her career at Financial Security Associates in Roanoke where she worked for over 35 years, constantly talking about how blessed she was to work for such great people.
Mary was special in many ways. She loved to fish, loved sports and was the biggest Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Bradley Braves fan! She loved unsweetened iced tea and didn’t go a day without it. Although she enjoyed many things, her favorite thing was to spend time with her family.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She would do anything for anyone and never thought about herself. Her eyes would light up and she would glow when she was around or talking about her great grandchildren Ruthie and Wilder. She loved her husband dearly and they were best friends’ side by side in everything they did.
Mary will be missed for her laugh, smile, servants’ heart, and unconditional love for others. Its goodbye for now, but for those who are saved, it is see you later.
