Marlene J Vaughn

Born January 10, 1934 in Peoria to Howard and Emma (Belchner) O’Brien, she married Charles Vaughn in 1957 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Anita (Dan) Lee of Goldendale, Washington; three sons, Randy Vaughn of Creve Coeur, Robert (Kitty) Vaughn of Peoria, Steven (Ronda) Vaughn of Andrews, Texas and three grandchildren, Matthew Lee, Logan Vaughn and Lucas Vaughn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Karen L. Vaughn and two brothers.

Marlene was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in East Peoria.

A homemaker,Marlene loved being with her family and her grand puppies. She also enjoyed doing house work and keeping her home spotless, gardening, especially her tomatoes and traveling in their motorhome.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Elder Jerry Jacobsen will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Garden in Morton.
