Marian Ruth Roberts

Marian Ruth Roberts, 91, of Mapleton, passed away at 9:58 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 at Pekin Hospital. She was born July 4, 1922 in Fulton County to John M. and Maggie L. (Fengel) Putman. She married Howard S. Roberts in Fairview on September 8, 1940. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2005. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers. Surviving are four sons, Charles (Shirley) of Lake Camelot, Richard (Sherry) of Lake Camelot, Kenneth (Karen) of Toulon, Harold (Debra) of Mapleton; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Marian was a member of the Glasford United Methodist Church in Glasford. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin with Rev. Walter Wilkins officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
