Lynette Diane Dietrich

She was born January 21, 1948 in Pekin to Robert and Lola Mae (Woerner) Dietrich.

Surviving are two sons, Robert “Bobb” Dietrich of Pekin and Ben Dietrich of Delavan; two grandsons, David Austin Dietrich of Bellevue and Austin Vickers of St. Charles and two uncles, Paul (Betty) Woerner of Morton and Bill (Rose) Woerner of Waterloo, Iowa. She also leaves her life partner, Ronald Montgomery of Palm Coast, Florida and his children, Lisa (George) Niketas of Naperville, Arnold (Sonhui) Montgomery of Port Byron, Julius (Julie) Montgomery of Mason, Ohio and Laurie (Steve) Arnold of Grays Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Kody Robert Dietrich.

Lynette worked for Auto Owners Insurance for 44 years, retiring in 2014 as a senior underwriter specialist.

She was a longtime member and past worthy matron of Celestial City Chapter #333 of the Order of the Eastern Star in Pekin. She also was a member of the Tazewell County Farm Bureau.

She was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and loved being near the beach. She also was a fan of Disney, Mickey & Minnie in particular.

Order of the Eastern of Star Rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, with funeral services immediately following. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
