Born August 3, 1988 in Peoria, he was the son of Brett Andrew and Heidi Joanne (McClary) Heilman.
Surviving are his mother, Heidi McKeown of Pekin; his father, Brett Heilman of Pekin; three sons, Carter Heilman, Kaden Heilman and Kasen Heilman; two brothers, Chad (Heather) Heilman and Jeff Heilman, both of Pekin; his maternal grandmother, Beverly McClary of Pekin; four nephews; three nieces; two great-nephews and one great-niece. He also leaves an extended family of numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas McClary; his paternal grandparents, Orville and Charlene Heilman and one great-nephew.
Kyle last worked for Caterpillar, Inc. as a fork truck driver.
He was a musician and drumming was his most favorite thing. He was a drummer for various local bands.
Kyle loved spending time with family and being outdoors. He was a big fan of the New England Patriots and singer Luke Combs.
He was a person of faith and had attended North Pekin Church of the Nazarene.
His memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Shawna Marsh will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation has been accorded.
