Kevin Kennith Vaughn

Born March 15, 1961 in Pekin to Kennith and Shiree (Lasswell) Vaughn, he married Karen Kirk on May 7, 1993 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are his father; one daughter, Amber Vaughn of Bettendorf, Iowa; two sons, Kody Vaughn of Bartonville and Kyle Vaughn of Creve Coeur; two grandchildren, Emmeline and Kenny Vaughn; one brother, Keith Vaughn and one sister, Kristina Brewer.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister Karla Anderson.

Kevin worked for many years as a member of the Local 18 Plasterers’ & Cement Masons’ Union as a concrete finisher.

In his free time he enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR and motorcycle racing Kevin was a member of the Pekin Motorcycle Club for 20 years. He also enjoyed having a drink of Jack Daniels and Busch Beer and spending time with grandchildren and dogs.

A private visitation will be held for the family at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
