He was born in Pekin to Clarence and Lula (Kessler) Vaughn.
Surviving are one daughter, Lori (Bill) Emery of Mackinaw; two grandchildren, Brock and Shelby; one brother, Ronnie Vaughn of East Peoria; two sisters, Diana (Dave) Mullins of Metamora and Phyllis Bryson of Mt. Pulaski and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings, Duane Vaughn, Evelyn Godbey, Patty Vaughn, Jean Layne, Linda Aschenbrenner, Ruby Ervin, Judith “Judy” Pollard and Joan Wilson.
Kenny was the owner and operator of Kenny’s Tire Service in Washington and Midstate Tire Company in East Peoria.
In his free time he enjoyed fishing and playing darts and pool.
A private inurnment will be at Lakeside Cemetery. Cremation has been accorded by Preston- Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
