Julie A Story

Born August 3, 1959 in Atlantic, Iowa to John and Agnes Ann (Powers) Orr, she married Dale Story on January 26, 1980 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Jennifer (Richard Hurst) Hall of Groveland; one son, Sean (Jasmine) Story of Pekin; six grandchildren, Abbegale, Dawson, Madison, Noah, Tyler, Peyton; one brother, Kyle Olson of Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was also looking forward to the upcoming birth of her granddaughter, Daenerys.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael Orr.

Julie had worked for Par-A-Dice in East Peoria as a cashier and slot shift supervisor, last working in 2013 due to her health.

She enjoyed crocheting, especially baby blankets for donation. She also enjoyed going shopping, playing cards and going to the riverboat in the Quad Cities.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Jeff Stark will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
