Born February 25, 1947 in Pekin, she was the daughter of George A. and Edna Bertha “Bea” (Heater) Weber. Her parents and one brother, Wade Weber, preceded her in death.
Surviving are one brother, Mark (Judy) Weber of Tremont; her sister-in-law, Donna Weber of Hobart, Indiana; one niece, Kathryn “Kathy” (Bill) Getty of St. Joseph; two nephews, Steven M. Weber of Hobart, Indiana and Lee Weber of Tremont and five great nieces and nephews, Grace Getty, Abby Getty, Aaron Weber, Jesse Weber and Leighia Weber.
Jill retired from Momence High School following a career as the school librarian. She then was a substitute teacher at Pekin Community High School. She had earned both a Bachelor’s Degree and her Master’s Degree in Education.
She lived to travel and especially enjoyed Disney. She also enjoyed painting.
Jill was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin, where she formerly served with Grace Café and Food Pantry.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2023 at Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. Pastor Eric N. Swanson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral at the church. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
