Janene Ellen Collins

Born December 29, 1953 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Harold and Louise (Walter) Collins. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Logsdon.

Surviving are five sisters, Kay Brinkman of Bolingbrook, Judy Muth of Bridgeview, Alice Dorgan of Park Ridge, Pat Henning of Bolingbrook and Bernita Lamb of Berlin, Wisconsin; two brothers, Wayne (JoAnn) Dixon of Parker, Colorado and James Dixon of Lebanon, Tennessee; one stepbrother, Danny Collins; one stepsister, Linda Hamilton and many nieces and nephews.

Janene was a fan of NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, fishing and listening to music.

Her graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2022 at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. Pastor Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
