Born August 15, 1944 in Peoria to James Treasure and Anne Elizabeth (Klein) Pribble, Sr., he married Janice L. Kahler on October 11, 1967 in Peoria. She died October 29, 2012 in Peoria. He then married Tina L. (Gabel) Fuelberth on August 22, 2015 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving one son, James T. “Jim” (Kristina) Pribble, III of Pekin; one daughter, Julie Ann Dodson of Pekin; three grandchildren, Kittra (Jeremy) Conrad of Pekin, Heather Haynes of Bartonville and James T. Pribble, IV of Pekin; eight great-grandchildren and three sisters, Phyllis Rodcay of Washington, Patty (Tom) Meno of St. Charles and Charlene “Bunny” Blasdel of South Pekin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Agnes Parsons and Katherine Howard and two brothers, Jerry Pribble and Jack Pribble.
Jim worked for Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville for 32 years, retiring in 2004 as a machine operator in the wire mill.
A life member of the Greater Pekin Bowling Association Hall of Fame, Jim bowled for more than 70 years and was a longtime coach. He also worked several years at Sunset Lanes and helped in the proshop drilling balls. In addition to bowling, Jim was excellent at playing horseshoes, pool, darts and marbles.
Jim loved his family and also loved his little dog, Taz. He did lots fishing and camping with family and friends over the years.
No services or visitation are planned. Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
