Gloria L Garrison

Born April 7, 1940 in Pekin to Clarence and Alyne (Brooks) Tucker, she married Roy Garrison on April 27, 1957 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Richard Gene (Catherine) Garrison and Terry Eugene Garrison, both of Pekin; two daughters, Gayle (Bud) Miller and Judeena (Ronald) Rhoades, both of Pekin; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and one sister, Donna Fischer of South Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Rick Dean Garrison and one sister, Bonnie Rae.

Gloria worked for over ten years in the deli at Korsmeyers in Pekin. She also tended bar for four years at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Roy L. King Post #1232 and for six years at Hunter's Tavern in Pekin.

She loved to shop and cook.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Cremation will be accorded following services.
