SOUTH PEKIN ~ Gary Allen Logue, 56, of 209 4th Street, passed away at 6:56 p.m. Saturday, December 24, 2011 at his residence.
He was born December 6, 1955 in Pekin to Jessie Carl and Mary Helen (Noblet) Logue. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Ronnie Logue and Steve Logue.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Helen Bright; three daughters, Trisha (Nick Summy) Jones of South Pekin, Heather (Dan) Krahn and Jacalyn Logue, both of Pekin; one son, Joshua Logue, Sr. of Pekin; six grandchildren; one sister, Jerolyn (Bob) Edwards of Salem, Missouri; and one brother, Roger (Diane) Logue of Wilmington.
Gary had worked as a cook for many years at Ernie's Family Restaurant in Pekin and the Pekin Country Club.
His memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pekin First Church of God. Pastor Johnny Creasong will officiate. A celebration of life gathering will follow at the Roy L. King VFW in Pekin. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with expenses.
