Erwin Kohl

Born May 24, 1954 in Breidenstein, Germany to Heinrich and Christa (Assmann) Kohl. He married Theresa Workman on November 12, 1976 in Peoria. She died January 5, 2004 in Pekin. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are one daughter, Katrina (Kevin) Dulin of Cypress, Texas; one step-daughter, Mary-Jo Workman of Peoria; one granddaughter, Clare Dulin and four step-grandchildren, Alyssa (Shane) Nebel, Jessie (Levi) Kolvis, Mark York and Krystian Lawson.

Erwin had worked in maintenance at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria for 40-plus years before retiring in 2021.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and traveling. He also loved attending events at the Mackinaw Winery.

His graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022 at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin. Pastor John Vaughn will officiate.
