Born February 14, 1928, in Bloomfield, Missouri to Albert and Annie (Lipe) Gibson, she married Claude E. Craig on September 2, 1944 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; Joan (Curt) King, one granddaughter; four brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are her one son, Earnest (Caty) Craig of Seaview, Washington; two daughters, Marilyn (Steve) Crisler of Washington and Jeanie (Dan) Farmer of Morton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a homemaker of her own home.
Dorothy and Claude dedicated their life to the Southern Baptist Ministry for more than 50 years, pastoring five churches in the Peoria area. Dorothy was a member of the Creve Coeur Southern Baptist Church, which her husband founded in 1957.
In her free time she enjoyed crocheting.
Per Dorothy’s request there will be no services held. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
