Diana "Diane" S Carr

Born April 18, 1950 in Olney to Delbert and Wanda (Bickers) Green, she married Larry Eugene Carr on May 27, 1966 in Hidalgo. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Kenton (Misti Tomblin) Carr of Peoria and Brenton (Tina) Carr of Hartland, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Aaron Carr and Riley Carr, both of Peoria and Derek Carr and Cameron Carr, both of Hartland, Wisconsin; and two brothers, Robert (Jayne) Green of Newton and Bryan Green of Salem.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Diane had a long career in banking throughout the Central Illinois area. She had been active for several years in the Pekin / Peoria M.S. Society.

Diane enjoyed traveling and attending her son’s school and sports activities. She cherished her time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren who meant the world to her.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. James McClarey will officiate. Private burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
