Dennis Lee Sharp

Born January 19, 1939 in Pekin to Elwin and Flossie (Brownlee) Sharp, he married Dollie Jean Westerhouse on October 13, 1958. She died September 8, 2020 in Pekin. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are one daughter, Sherrie (Dave) Fulton of Pekin; three sons, Gene (Tracy) Sharp of Glasford, David (Sue) Sharp of Pekin and Steven Sharp of Florida; five grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Grayson, Nicole and Isabella; two great-grandchildren, Sophie and Everett and one brother, Ivan (Irene) Sharp of Boulder City, Colorado.

Dennis had worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 30 years as a semi-truck driver before retiring in 1994.

He enjoyed attending car shows with his family, restoring antique cars and spending time on the beach with his wife.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
